Along the wild Atlantic coasline and route, from Connemara to the Cliffs of Moher. Beautiful, beautiful Ireland! Scenes from County Galway and Connemara, the Wild Atlantic way and further inland, Ireland.
The beaches along the coast from Galway into Connemara are wild, rocky and beautiful. The overcast summer skies add to the beautiful landscape and seascape. Horses stand like statues in rocky pastures. Drystone walls crawl across hills, hand-cleared pastures with shallow soil.
The beautiful Cliffs of Moher, (Aillte an Mhothair), on the wild Atlantic coast of County Clare, Ireland, on the edge of The Burren, close to the village of Doolin. The castle is O'Brien's Tower. The sheer cliffs have been the scene for many movies including Into The West and Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince.
