CROMER, NORFOLK, 3 June 1018: Wreckage of the SS Fernebo, seen at low tide. The Swedish ship was hit by a mine during a gale on 9th January 1917, and eleven men were rescued by Cromer lifeboat (the Louisa Heartwell), led by Coxwain Henry Blogg, and five other men were helped ashore by a human chain.
